Hi Karen,
I just wanted to give you an update on Trinket.  She is absolutely the love of our lives!  She is so darling and we just adore her.
The girls did great on the flight and we were glad that they had each other.  Of course, we caused a commotion at the
security area because we had to take them out to walk through the scanner.
Everyone who saw them fell in love with them and had to ask us what kind of dogs they were and how old they were.
Once on the plane, all of the flight attendants went nuts over them.
We had them in the same Sherpa bag so they would feel safe and they just looked so darling both looking out together.
Trinket has had no trouble adjusting.  She is eating and drinking fine and she seems very happy.
She just loves to play and run around.  She had her "new puppy" check at the vet today and he said she is very healthy.
He said that her breeder really did a great job with her and that he is envious of us because we have such a healthy, beautiful puppy.
I just wanted to let you know how she is doing because I know how much you love her too.
I also want to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and visiting with you and your daughter.  She is a very lovely young lady.
Thank you for allowing us to meet all of your dogs and see your place.
You have a very nice, clean kennel and I was very impressed with how social all of your dogs are.
I know that I can speak for my sister and my mother both when I say that we all got such a nice feeling from you.
You are so genuine and caring and it is obvious how much you love your animals.
I will certainly keep in touch and send updated pictures of our little girl.
She has such a fun and exciting life ahead of her and a family who loves her to death.  Thank you for that.
Take care and I hope all is well with you.
Brycie

This is Olivia and her friend Ella!

Buster is the best dog and friend you could ever want. Although our first night home was a challenge.
Karen said, put him in his cage and put a toy or an alarm clock in there. Well he whinned for two hours.
We finally took him out of the cage, put him in bed with us, and he shut up went to sleep. He has been in our bed ever since.
He was very easy to pottie train, and we haven't had any accidents. He is wonderful with our granddaughter Destiny (three),
He is very attentive, always happy to see us and participates in all that we do.
He loves to go boating sitting on the front bow, he loves to ride the jet ski, and is the community boat dog.
He is on the houseboat every weekend with us, when he has to go to the bathroom he bails off the boat and goes.
When he wants to come back he will swim back to the boat and we will get him, (however, he is very picky because if the water is to cold,
he stands on shore staring at our boat until we get in the water and get him).
The minute anybody's boat motor starts on a ski boat he will jump in it to take a ride. Lots of our friends take him for rides.
He loves to ride the Harley Davidson also.
We love buster very much. He was a big hit at the July 4th party. He wore his hat the whole day.
But once the fireworks began he didn't like it. He was going crazy.
We had to start our generator on the boat, turn the air conditioners and TV so he couldn't hear.
Hope you enjoy these pictures.

Hi Karen,

It's been a hectic week at work, but just wanted to drop you a note to say we arrived home safely Sunday evening.
What a GREAT little travelling buddy we have!!  Kirby fussed for only 10 mins or so when we put him in his crate,
then kept himself occupied with his toys and/or took a nap.  we stopped every 3 hours or so to let him stretch out a bit...
I'm curious....did you begin leash training him?  he's been perfectly fine with it from the first time i put it on him...
he also took to playing fetch with a tennis ball from the very first time...
Needless to say, everyone who meets him falls in love with him right away - we'll never have trouble finding a puppy sitter!!  hehehehe...
.his vet check was fine - it was so funny, when the vet saw him she brought him around the office showing him to everyone!!
Well, all for now.  take care, it was great to meet you, and thanks again!!
Phill

Hi Karen,
Here's a picture of my grandson Connor with Riley. We will have him two weeks tomorrow.
Everything about him we love. He is terrific - only 2 accidents so far in the house.
He is so friendly and lovable with everyone he meets. As you can see,
connor loves him (this was the first day they met) sleeps in his
crate every night and doesn't even cry. Riley is wonderful -
Thank you so much for a great dog. Talk to you soon.
Colleen

Hi, how are you Karen!
Fine I hope.
As for our little family we're doing great! I want to give you an update on Holloween, "The Best Dog Ever!"
He's a few days short of five months, and continues to grow strong, and happy!
He's completely potty trained, He learned Super Quick! I'm so proud to be his Mommy!
As you know he has the best personality, he's quite a character. He fits perfectly into our family... we're all nuts!
Our cat Spooky is his bests friend, they play and fight all day long. My family can't imagine not having him,
He's absolutely beautiful!!!
I'm including a few pictures for your site, more will be sent after we return from our vacation.
We're excited to see how Holloween will take to the Jersey Shore.
Thanks Again Karen ~ Enjoy your Summer!

Hi Karen:

First let me apologize for not writing to you sooner. I have been a little busy with housebreaking,
crate training and puppy classes. I consider the day I found Stoney Brook Farm on the internet one of my best!
From my first contact with you until the day we came to pick up Bailey (Jingle) you were there to answer all my questions and
keep me abreast of her progress. It was so exciting to see that first picture,
but the wait until she was old enough to come home seemed to take forever.
Bailey is doing just great. I'm sending you some photos so you can see what a great looking girl she is.
She has fit into our family just perfectly. She and my other Cairn get along fine.
In fact, I think my older dog has a new spark since Bailey moved in. Bailey is in constant motion.
She loves to play ball and is very good at bringing the ball to you to throw for her.
She is completely house broken and crate trained at six months.
Hope all is well at Stoney Brook and that you continue to place these wonderful pets with other lucky families.
We will continue to let you know how Bailey is doing.
Thanks Karen!

Dear Karen,
I want to thank you for the puppy. She is doing great! I named her Reese. She likes to play ball and likes stuffed animals.
On Christmas, Mom gave her some turkey to try. Reese go so excited. She is getting so big and her color is getting lighter.
Reese is very funny and adorable when she is dreaming. She will bark and shake. She lets me play dress-up on her.
We bought a jacket for her to go play in the snow too. Her ears are popping up now.
She knows the word treat very well. She loves Milk Bone Dogs Treats too. She is almost potty trained.
We are also getting her used to the car. We are planning to go camping this summer.
We are trying to get her use to the water, she is not big on that!
Reese will stand under the umbrella!
Niki

Karen:

I just wanted to let you know how Jetta's doing.  She's become such a bright spot in our lives.  We love having her here with us.
Our older dog Eddie loves her also.  He plays so carefully with her it's sweet!  She gets to play all she wants.
We've made some special arrangements when school starts Wednesday. (We want to keep up the spoiling!!)
She's grown so much this past week we can't believe it.  I think she loves it here as much as we love having her.
I need to pick up a battery for our digital camera and then I will send you some pictures.
Thanks again for all you did to make this happen.  She's all we hoped for. I'll be in touch

Hi Karen,

I can't tell you what a joy Ishka is already.  She rode home between me and Dad (they both took several naps).
When ever we stopped at a rest stop, she would stay right by my feet.  Once we got home, she got to
explore and immediately found a rope toy (her favorite) in the basket.   She whines a little while when I put her in her crate,
but then she settles down on her blanket with her bunny and sleeps.
She has been excellent about using the piddle pads, not a single accident so far!
She is making us all laugh and loves to give kisses.
Give her mom, Emma, a hug and kiss from both of us.  Have a great 4th of July!
I will send more photos in a month or so:)
Thanks again,
Samantha

Ishka in her new loving home!!!

Roxy is doing great.  She will be going on a trip to Florida to meet her grandparents this weekend.
She is getting bigger and stronger, now weighing in at 5.6 lbs.  She is such a cuddle monster too.
We couldn't be happier.  Hope all is well with all upcoming litters, saw pictures, there
should be some really cute puppies.
Best Regards,
Laura Slump

Just wanted to let  you know how Roxy was doing.  Recently we have been
taking her to the "unleashed" section of the park and she is playing with
all the other dogs/puppies!  And she is closer to being potty trained
everyday!  She also loves to play with her best friend, Preston (a yellow
lab) along with many others.  She is not shy at all, and sometime it
worries me when she approaches dogs three times her size, but she seems to
hold her own.  The other day we found a present for Roxy outside, with a
note from this little kid down the street.  She is just making friends
everywhere.
Hope all is well at Stoney Brook.  I have been watching all the new
litters, some really cute puppies.  Joe and I are talking about getting
another one in the near future, for someone to play with during the day..
But, I think one is plenty for now.
Talk soon.
Best Regards, Laura Slump

Karen, I just wanted to tell you what a great puppy Ozzy is.  We are all in love.  He is perfect.
I knew that Ellie Mae was a great dog and I was expecting a wonderful puppy but he is more than I had dreamed possible.
His personality is the best of any Cairn that we have ever had and this is number 3!
He has taken to his kennel very well and he doesn't even whine.  He is potty training well.
I'm not sure if it's because he is a genius or because I'm getting better myself.  It's probably a little of both.
Everyone that has seen him has fallen instantly in love.  Thank you so much for another great dog.  Your the best.
