I have purchased a puppy from the litter
born on December 31,2002 (Rena, from Master Milo and Roxi Run ) and we just
love her so much. She is quite the character. She follows me everywhere and
loves to cuddle up to us when she takes her naps and insists on sleeping in
the bed at night next to me. She loves to go swimming in our pool with us.
She is definitely the queen of the house. As a matter of fact, my oldest
daughter did a report on Jack Russell terriers at the Seneca county fair and
took her to show some of her training techniques and she ended up getting
first place with her! Now she is going to go to the state fair, which I think
is just fantastic. The judge really loved Rena (Mandi) and thought she was
a
very beautiful, well mannered dog.
Thanks
Geoff Oney

Hello Karen!!
Julie and I thought we would send you some new pictures of
Millie... hard to believe that she is already 6 months old! I hope
things are going well at Stoneybrook... you've had some adorable
puppies in the past couple of litters. Thank you for everything.
We really appreciate it... having Millie around is wonderful.
Thank you again,
Jud Laman

Midas, who we call "Mighty" for Mighty Dog,
thinks he can fly. He sails off the couch, the bed, anything, he doesn't care.
He still has that same look that he has in the baby picture that you had posted.
He is the most entertaining dog we have ever had.
He has a sister and a brother (a blind 7 year old Yorkie) (Diamond) and a
mixed Rott. (Rocky). Mighty loves Rocky.
They run in the yard together, chew on toys together and I do believe Mighty
thinks he is the same size as Rocky
but from these pictures you can see Mighty is no where close to his size.
But don't let him fool you, he loves his sister Diamond.
I just don't think he understands why she walks right past him sometimes.
They both sleep with us at night. They keep me very warm.
Mighty was a very quick learner. He was in his crate maybe 5 months if that
and he is fine to be left out with Diamond when we are gone.
Thanks for the bundle of Joy. He is great!

Hi Karen,
Just wanted to give you quick update. First of all we've all had
a blast since Macky's arrival!
He's totally spoiled, of course, but worth every bit of it. Macky is "THE
MAN" :) ...
He's totally bright (no surprise) and already dominates EVERYTHING outdoors
including our female german shorthair and cat.
Seems like he's doubled in size and become all fun and attitude. He's all
Jack and we just love him.
He's really getting handsome...just starting to break through the eyebrows
and muzzle.
Like I said, just a quick note to thank you again and let you know he's doing
great!

Dear Karen-
Rainbeau and Thor have upped the excitement in the Higgins' household.
Although one may look at Rainbeau and think "what a cute and cuddly puppy,"
we
can assure you that she now causes more trouble than Thor. We call them
partners in crime because they like to get into the laundry basket and steal
clothes, have already figured out how to get through a door barrier, like
to
chew anything but their toys, and constantly tussle with each other. Thor,
while ornery, is sweet and cuddly now. He hasn't quite figured out how to
keep his ears perked up all the time. The biggest challenge of all has been
the potty training. One of them cooperates and the other ignores their duty
because they are too busy listening to the birds and exploring their
surroundings. They are both getting lots of attention from all of us, and
they are entertaining to watch while they chase each other throughout the
house. They have been to the vet twice, and they enjoy being the hit of the
office. The veterinarian appreciated the outstanding records you sent along
with them, and stated that they are both are in excellent health. We will
keep you posted about the adventures of Rainbeau and Thor. Once again thank
you so much for the two wonderful and adorable additions to our family.
Regards-
The Higgins Family

Hello again at Stoney Brook-
We wanted to send you some new pictures of Rainbeau and Thor for your website.
They are both getting so big and seem to be filled with more energy everyday!
Their last visit at the vet they both weighed in just over 12 pounds.
Although Rainbeau is bigger than Thor he doesn't let her push him around.
Thor loves to agitate his sister while she's sleeping quietly in her crate.
They both love to get in trouble by shredding the toilet paper from the
bathrooms. If you look closely in some of their pictures you can see the
evidence of their toilet paper adventures. Rainbeau is a jealous little girl
and Thor of course likes to steal the show by being goofy. Both of them like
to climb in your lap at the same time because they can't stand it if one is
getting attention and the other is not.
We are very pleased with the color of their coats. Beau has mostly red fur
with some wheaten in her. Thor looks more like his dad, Murphy, with an
assortment of colors. My family has agreed that they both have the most
unique personalities of any Cairn we've ever had. We want to thank you again
for two wonderful dogs!! We still enjoy looking at your new puppies on your
website. Keep up the good work and take care.
Best wishes-
The Higgins Family

Jacob and Charlie are doing just great! They both
went to the vet
today and they both shared in the pain of shots. I was a little
worried about them getting along with each other, but they do just
fine together. Jacob loves being a big brother, and even waits for
Charlie to eat before he steps up to the food bowl. It is so adorable.
They both sleep well through the night and are fully crate trained. We
have a bell that they ring when they need to go outside and they are
doing great with that as well. It is amazing how quickly they pick up
on things. They are both soooooo smart and entertaining. Thank you so
much for my babies!!!! Well, I have attached a couple of pictures of
the two for you to enjoy.

Hello Karen:
Just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that we are doing well with
our new puppies,
Lilly and Basil, who now reside in New York City.
Both dogs have great personalities. They had their first vet visit and were
found very healthy and in great shape.
You said Lilly was the quiet one, well she is changing, she has been quick
to learn basic commands like “come”, “diner time”.
Basil is so friendly and loving, and needs more attention at diner time because
Lilly tries to eat her food.
Also, Basil follows Lilly every where, they like to play and run in the yard
chasing after each other every day.
They have also quickly learned when and where to “relieve” themselves.
They have been sleeping in their giant crate very peacefully.
Lastly, yesterday 03 16 2004 we had about 4” of snow in New York, and
they loved it, they went out to the back yard and
ran around happily for 15 minutes before the got too cold. They love my great
Dane Dog Nikita.
I am attaching some recent pictures of Lilly and Basil taken at 11 weeks.
Thank you again.
Best Regards,
Oscar Orietta De La Villa

I just wanted to let you know that Missy (Savannah) made it through the night
just fine.
I also wanted to let your daughter know that. Also, everyone just loves her
to death.
I will keep in touch with you and thank you for a really adorable puppy.

Karen-
There is a lady at flyball that has a taller JRT named Milhouse.
She came up to me last Sat. and asked me how I get her to mind so well. She
also said, she can't
believe how well behaved she is and that she just sits on my lap and waits
her turn.
On Sunday when we were out at the barn a lady came out to see her horse that
is in halter training w/the arab trainer.
She came up to me and told me that she has raised JRT's for 15 yrs and has
not seen such good conformation in a JRT in a long time.
She commented on how typey Savannah was and how pretty she was.
I do tell all of these people where I got her from and how I looked for a
JRT for 2 yrs before I bought one from you.
I also, tell them that I just liked the looks of your dogs and that is why
I went through you to get Savannah.
You should be really proud of yourself and your success with where your dogs
go.
I know that I am proud to have one of your dogs and don't mind telling people
where I got her from.
Take Care,
Tina and Savannah

Hi Karen,
We just wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year.
Dolly is truly everything that we could want in a Cairn. She was house
trained by 10 weeks.
She only had 2 #1 accidents in the house and no #2 accidents! Incredible
for a puppy.
She is trained to the lead and loves to bark at the deer when she goes out
at night.
She is a very quick learner...she knows all her basic commands and hand signals.
She does a very good sit up (she does it at every opportunity)! And also likes
to roll over.
She weighs about 10 pounds and, judging by her collar, does not seem to be
growing much any more.
As you can tell, we are proud of her, but we also could tell very early
on that you, as a breeder, did a great job of socializing these pups.
She is like having all our previous Cairn's (2) and the Westie wrapped up
into one dog!
We are so glad we found your website; thanks again for a wonderful dog.

Hello Karen,
Just wanted to drop a little note and share a few pictures of Maverick, who
we had to rename "Wrecker".
He is so wonderful and fits just perfectly in our home. He is absolutely beautiful
and a bundle of energy.
Thank you for sharing him with us.
Take Care,

Hi Karen,
Stella is just wonderful, and she loves my kids!!! Which is worth every penny
I spent on her, she loves everyone but especially my
boy. She is just the greatest puppy, her temperament, her sweetness and such
a people dog. All she wants to do is be with us
everywhere. She sleeps in her kennel at night and seems to be OK with it and
when we want her to have her quiet time we put her in
the big play pen that we had for the twins when they were babies. We put her
toys, and chewies with her kennel and she plays
safely and she seems to enjoy it. When she gets tired she just goes inside
her kennel and goes to sleep. I couldn't have ask for a
better puppy, I don't know if it is because all Cairn terriers are this kind
or if it is your dogs, but my guess would be your dogs. I
cannot wait for our Jack Russell, I hope he is as kind as Stella, and of course
beautiful. Thank you for all of your pictures that you
send me of Gussy, and if I had more time I would love more of your puppies,
but we will have to wait for a while and see after Gus
gets here. Thanks again Karen
Rhonda

Hello Karen,
Just wanted to say hello and let you know how much we are enjoying Chester.
He is growing into such a beautiful dog and everyone that sees him will tell
us that.
He has such a wonderful personality and can always make us smile.
Dave and I wanted to check with you and see if Chester's parents ever
have another litter could you please let us know?
We really like the smooth coat and love his personality and wanted to see
if his parents were due for a litter any time in the future.
The other night I was on the sofa watching TV and Chester was on the floor
right by me,
then he came up on the sofa with me and fell alseep on my arm.
He is such a sweet boy and we are so glad that we decided to get a JRT.
I tell everyone I can about him and how I would recommend a JRT to anyone
who wants a wonderful dog.
I will be sending a picture soon I promise and if his parents are due for
a litter I would love to hear from you.
Thanks again and have a great day!

Hello Karen,
I can't believe that our little Chester is 1 year old. The time has
really flown by and with each day we love him more and more.
I really look forward to being home and getting a chance to be with
him he really brightens our days.
My son Rory who is at WKU has really enjoyed being with Chester while he has
been home.
He is really attached to him too and does not mind watching him and playing
with him if Dave and I are busy.
We took Chester to Feeders Supply on his birthday to buy him some toys as
a present.
He really liked seeing all the people and other dogs. He loves to visit
other people and my neighbor has a dachshund
and he and Chester play together real well. When Chester is over at
Scouts house I really miss him around
our house and love it when he comes home. I never thought I would be
this taken with a dog but Chester
is such a special dog and I am looking forward to many years with him. I go
to your website all the time and look at the puppies.
We love looking at the puppies and if I could I would take one from each litter.
They are such wonderful dogs and I tell everyone about the Jack Russell's
and how special they are.
Hope things are going well with you and your family. I promise I will
send a picture of our boy real soon.
I have a couple in my office at work as well as a Jack Russell calendar and
always smile when I look at them.
Take care and know that we love our little Chester so much and I am so glad
I got him from you. He is a wonderful dog.

Hello Karen,
Boscoe has a new name now, we call him Farley. He is doing
wonderful. He
is already going to the door to go outside for his potty breaks and he can't
decide which one of his 20 toys will be his favorite, so he is chewing all
of
them. He seems to already be getting attached to me and he loves the
new
people that he meets. Thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful
little guy.
Talk to you soon.
Sarah

Karen,
Hello, Sorry it has taken so long for me to send a
picture but I was waiting on this one to be taken.
These are of Farley with Santa today at Petsmart.
He loves going shopping there but, its hard to get through the store for
all of the attention he gets. He is doing great and he has been such
a joy to have.
Thank you once again.

Hi Karen,
Thought I would drop you a line to let you know that we are very pleased
with Cricket. She is a real joy and very smart. We are still working
on the potty training but she only has an accident when she is rebelling,
so
I guess it isn't an accident. If I ever get our film developed I will send
you pictures. She is a little affraid when she hears a dog barking and at
night when we take her out she stays real close. Well just wanted you to
know that we are enjoying her. Thanks for again for all of your time and
patience when we were trying to make a decision.

Hello,
We went to the vets this morning and of course she is very healthy.
He said watch her weight because she is a little round.
I told him that she was boss lady and probably ate hers along with everyone
elses.
She weighs 3.4lbs. I go to Murray Animal Clinic and they asked about your
kennels,
was it clean, etc etc. I told them that it is one of the better run kennels
I have seen.
After we talked about the Cairns & the JRT's, I told him about the photography
studio.
He said that they had some pictures done by you not to long ago.
He said he would refer any of his clients to you that were interested in either
breed.
She is one of the funniest puppies to watch, not afraid of the dogs. the cats,
the horses,
in fact I don't think much bothers her. And I agree with what you said about
that getting her in trouble,
I do believe I will keep a close eye on her. I forgot about puppy proofing,
so I was busy last night. Thank you again. My Parents fell in Love with her
too,
so much so that my dad asked lots of questions.
Is it took late to speak up for one of Dots next litter? I would want a male
I think???
Talk to you soon

Hello Karen!
Little Cassie (we renamed Daphne) is lying in my lap on her special blanket
snoozing away. She is just a bundle of energy!
I call it the Holy Terror, oops, I mean Holy Terrier in her :) She has really
adjusted well here and has already stared
down a Rottweiler and chased the 2 year old Yorkie next door. She may be smarter
than any of the 3 of us. She is healthy
and chewing on everything in sight and sometimes out of it! Potty training
is going pretty well and she is getting more
accustomed to my leading her on the leash instead of the other way around.
Although, she does still just bow up and stop
sometimes when I'm not going in the direction she wants to go in. I'm hoping
to get in a Puppy Kindergarten after she has
her final set of shots. Let me complement you on your socialization of Cassie.
She has not met anything she's afraid of yet including all the different household
sounds like the washer, dryer,
dishwasher and television. She also plays very well by herself though
she would be happy to have my attention all day every day. I've found that
she does very well in her crate as well.
She naps in there some during the day and has slept all night every night
since she's been here!
Well, I'll go for now. I'll keep you updated on our Cassie from time to time.
We are exceedingly pleased with our baby.

Dear Karen,
This letter is long overdue, we got Bailey (Mitzi) last July and we are now
just getting around to sending pictures of her.
She is so good and very well mannered, with the exception of tearing up Longaberger
Baskets which is one of her favorite things to do!!
She enjoys sleeping and the occasional run around the yard with Tommy, our
German Sheppard.
They get along great, of course Bailey acts like she is bigger than him and
he just lets her ride his back without biting her.
It's great, she has brought a lot of joy and we are enjoying watching her
grow and see how her personality develops!
We just discovered that she loves the water and enjoys laying out on the boat,
however,
she does get a little sunburnt so we really have to keep the sunscreen on
her poor little nose.
Well I just thought I would drop a line and let you know that she is doing
great and has brought so much comfort into our home.
Thank you so much, maybe in a year or two I can convince Brett that we need
another one and we will be back.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Bethany Benton

Karen,
Thought you might like to see what a fine young lad Riley (E-bay) has
turned into. He certainly keeps us entertained and I think he could chew his
way through steel bars. He is really a neat dog and spoiled rotten too!!!!!!
He loves to be outside and loves to play in the snow. He and the cat are
best of buddies-I think they would both be lost without the other. Our old
dog just looks at him and wishes he would chill out. Andrew and him are best
of buddies and Andrew is really enjoying his doggie. Hope you all had a good
holiday season. We look on the web site every so often to see your new additions.
Take care,
Jim and Becky Parr

Hi! Hope you and your family and animals
are all doing great!
I still visit the website to see the new puppies-can't help myself. Spike
is doing great!
He is starting to get the idea about going potty outside and I think beginning
to put meaning to words we say.
It's so exciting when you start to see the understanding in their eyes. You
can almost see the little wheels in their heads turning!
I wanted to let you know that if you need someone to affirm your kennel's
existence, I would be happy to help.
It's so hard to know when to trust the people you meet face to face, let alone
on the internet.
I have to admit that I was a little worried myself. I mean sending a chunk
of money to someone you don't know is a little scary.
So if you find a potential puppy mommy or daddy that seems concerned, please
don't hesitate to give them my email address.
I will let them know that you are for real and let them in on our wonderful
experience with you.
I think it's the least I could do to thank you for such a sweet little guy.
You don't know how much we love him. (Tia just adores him too). I'll be in
touch.
Take care. Judy
