Hi Karen!
You asked me to write something about our two little Jacks....Meesha
Renee and Jake.
Gosh, I'm afraid you wouldn't have enough room on your site, but I'll start
off by saying that the minute I opened your site
and saw your little Meesha, I knew I had to have one of her pups. As luck
would have it Meesha would deliver soon.
I waited with so much anticipation. I probably overwhelmed you with all my
emails. When Meesha delivered,
I certainly wasn't disappointed. The little girl I picked
looks just like her "momma". In fact I was so happy with
my pick that my daughter, Stacey decided she wanted one too. And my son Nick
will get a little boy in August.
Needless to say getting not 1 but 3 dogs from the same breeder must say a
lot about the breeder.
I open your site frequently just to look at all of your dogs. They are all
so good looking. They aren't JUST
cute; they look so well cared for....actually pampered and spoiled is more
like it. They look so healthy and alert
and just rearing to go. Meesha Renee, yes I had to name her after her Mom,
and Jake are just hysterical to watch as they
run around the yard chasing after each other. They are 3 months old now and
just about housebroken
although occassionally we have accidents. We've been to the Vet and have received
a clean bill of health.
In fact he was impressed with the vaccination card and the type of serum used.
The dogs DO NOT like
the heat....116 degrees is a bit much for anything living so we all spend
a lot of time in the pool to cool off.
Both dogs have excellent personalities. You can do anything to them when they
are eating.
They never growl and their little tails wag as fast as they can. I have a
picture of Meesha on my desk
at work and everyone that sees her thinks she's the best-looking JRT they
have seen.
We are all anxious for the new arrival of Nick's little guy, Budda, in August.
Needless to say I know we
won't be disappointed. I am attaching some recent pics of the pups. I am very
proud of my Jacks
and very appreciative of the way you treated me. You answered all my emails
and questions and were very willing
to please. It's plain to see where all your animals get their great dispositions.
Keep up the good work. You deserve the "Blue Ribbon".
I wish you the best of luck with all of your Jacks.
Thanks for Everything!.......Donna in Arizona...

Hi Karen,
Matt and I just want to say hi and let you know how much
we love Rio. He is only 12 weeks now, but already has a personality
of his own.
His personality is "me, me, me". He is keeping us busy with
his teething period. His sharp teeth puncture our skin daily.
He has become quite a singer too. His decibel level increases daily.
We are having so much fun with him.
It's been a cold winter so we bought him a sweater. The first time we
put it on him, he tipped over onto the floor.
He also has a huge blanket that was once mine but, we've become second
fiddle these days to Rio, he's special though and deserves it.
Here's a headshot photo from his first experience with snow. Thanks
again for sending Rio into our lives.

I have to tell you she has the funniest personality, we call her
the jasmanian devil "hahahaha"
She is in to everything, her favorite thing is tearing up paper towels and
toilet paper in to a million pieces.
Everyone that has seen her thinks she is most beautiful dog they have ever
seen.
We are finally through with all the puppy shots and she has clean bill of
health from the vet.
I just can't tell you how happy we are with her and how much we appreciate
the fact that you bring people such wonderful pet's ..
If we ever get another, I will be sure to come see you . Right now, though,
two dogs are enough.
Any time I get new pictures I will be sure to forward to you.

“Karen, we are so happy with our little baby boy, Charlie.
He is now 8 ½ months old. We take him walking/running
for an hour almost every morning, so he is in excellent shape. He keeps jumping
higher and higher the stronger he
gets! He is absolutely precious and full of life. As you can see by the first
picture below, he loves to hide in our pillows and
under any piece of furniture he can find. He’s not content sleeping
in his burrow bed, he prefers his “diddy” and
mommy’s bed, go figure…haha. He always enjoys a visit from Grandpa
and Grandma (picture #2) so they can spoil
him even more. We’ve just bought some land (picture #3) to build so
now Charlie can run and dig all he wants! He is the best!”

Hello Karen,
Well, Bexar has now had his first vet visit. Cristina, our
vet, said you, as the breeder, were VERY good.
She was extemely impressed with the records you kept and supplied us with.
As well as the overall
health of Bexar. She says he is in excellent shape. He is settling in nicely.
Already learning about going potty at the
right time and place. He was a little upset the first night, but is doing
fine now. He is taking his naps in his bed, and follows me
around the rest of the time. No problem eating at all! He doesn't really like
his harness, but in time will get used to it I am sure.
I cannot begin to thank you enough for having him there for us! He is quickly
becoming comfortable here at home.
I know you said he was the quiet one, I can assure you that is changing! He
has the cutest bark
and is not afraid to use it when he is playing or wants something.
I hope Kayla isnt missing him to much, he is letting me know I should
tell you to give her a kiss from him. Gotta run, will write again
soon, and THANK YOU again.
Phyllis

Hello Karen,
It has been a while and thought I would give you an update
on Bexar. He is still doing great. Healthy and curious as ever.
We have moved back to Texas and he loves it here.We did get him some puppy
training classes for basic commands,
his trainer was very pleased with his intelligence, and not surprised that
"treats" were not a good bribe for doing well.
It made a good challenge. We found his favorite treat was, and still is, love
and attention. He will do
ANYTHING for love and attention. We have also found he is a climber! As you
can see in the picture of him
with Randal. He climbs everything. And he loves kids. If he sees a child, he
goes straight for them and plays. And he is gentle with them.
He loves to go to the pet store with us so he can visit all the kids there.
If there is a child in the back of
the store, he will somehow know and head straight there. The training class
we had him in had 14 dogs and owners.
He was the only dog that got along with all the others, and the games he would
play with them!
There was one female that looked like a husky that really stayed away from
all the others, she was very dominate,
but when Bexar was tired of playing with the others, he would run to her,
sit between her front paws
(she was large compared to him although a puppy herself) and she would "protect"
him daring any other dog to come near.
Bexar of course would just look at the other dogs with an expression that
said "why arent you after me now? heheheh".
And she would just love on him. He keeps us amused and gives all the love
his little body can give, and
then some, and of course we give it right back. His new vet is as impressed
as his first vet was. Healthy and well adjusted.
He is almost a year old now and I still need to say THANK YOU for this wonderful
addition to our family.
I do not know how we lived before Bexar. Enjoy the picture! We will write
again.

Karen, Hi!
I just wanted to give you an update on Jimmy. He's SO smart. He's already
about 90% house trained.
He sleeps with me at night and always has to be right beside me. He loves
my little girl & is very protective over her.
Together they have the run of the house. He's very playful & VERY affectionate.
Everyone that meets him falls in love with him.
And he's better behaved than most adult dogs. He also likes to be rocked to
sleep.....spoiled.... :)
When Grace wakes up from her nap, he will go to the door & bark to let
us know. He goes to the door when he
needs outside. He's growing like a weed & still does great on his leash.
He's such a "BIG", brave dog too!
He barks at the neighbors dog while standing safely behind me... *he he he*
But I will let you go for now. I'll send more pictures soon!

Hi, Karen!
We have so much enjoyed our new pup, Bailey (which is what
we re-named Tinker)!
She's been a true delight! And she's so smart, too! We had our vet examine
her last Monday,
and he complimented your kennel on the good care she's been given (with her
shots, her health, her socialization, etc.).
He pronounced her very fit and said he could tell that she comes from good
stock.
She is so friendly and loving, and to our surprise she so immediately bonded
with Rachel and the rest of our family,
that we haven't had any problems with her regarding separation from her mother
and litter. I guess she thinks we're her new pack now!
She also is making very quick strides in the housebreaking dept. Every time
we take her outside, she seems to know just what to do.
Of course, at times her puppy curiosity means she'd rather play than do her
business,
but with a little coaching she does what's needed and we can quickly go back
into the warm house.
While she's indoors, we keep a piddle pad in her x-pen and for the times we're
not home or not right there to take her out,
she's been using it very regularly! (A feat our vet wasn't sure she'd master--ie,
using two surfaces to associate with going to the bathroom!)
So with just a little vigilance, we've had very few accidents on the carpet
and that thrills us to death! :-)
Also, Bailey has been quick to learn just basic commands like "come"
or to respond to our words telling her when
it's time to "eat" or time to "go potty," etc. That's
what makes us think she's very smart! And she's so cute and playful!
She never leaves Rachel's side, when Rachel is at home. So it's been fortunate
that Rachel has had some extra days home
because of the snow, so the two of them could bond so well. She already loves
chasing a ball, playing tug with her rope toy,
and chewing on her bones and other soft toys. Like I said before, she's been
so much fun and she's so friendly to everyone she's met so far!
Of course, like you warned on your website, she does love to chew, but we
have found that by offering her toys or chew bones to chew on,
she can be re-directed so that she's not biting us or the furniture so much!
Even with her being as social as she is, she's also adapted very quickly to
being alone in her pen when we're gone to work and school.
I've gotten the chance to sneak a peak at her when she's in her pen alone,
and after the first day where she briefly whined,
but quickly quit, she doesn't whine at all, but simply decides it's the perfect
time for her to nap in her crate.
And speaking of her crate, you were right about her adapting to it so quickly.
She's been sleeping in her crate at night next to Rachel's bed,
and does so without whining or complaining. Also, after the first 2 nights
of sleeping all night in her crate,
she hasn't pooped in it anymore, so again, we've been amazed at how quickly
she learns and adapts to new situations!
Thanks again for selling us such a great, cute and lovable little
puppy!
Your high quality standards for breeding and caring for your pups are exemplary,
and I'll be
sure to recommend your kennel for anyone who's looking for a Cairn or Jack
Russell puppy.
Take care, and have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Lisa and Rachel

Hi Karen,
I thought I'd report on Annie's first visit to the vet. Chuck
took
her and said the whole office just came to a standstill. The vet
said she is a very healthy puppy and that she had been well cared for.
I thought you would appreciate hearing that.
We continue to enjoy her, especially Chuck.
He is absolutely taken with her. When I got home from work last
night I had to listen to about two hours of what Annie had done
that day. Of course he is the one at home with her now but he will
be going on the road the last of January, so I am waiting my turn.
We had snow last night so she was totally confused when I took her
out this morning - she couldn't find her favorite spot.
Keep up the good work. You are very good at what you do.

Hi Karen,
Just wanted to send a quick note and let you know how much we love Rocky!
His vet check went fine and my vet said to pass on a compliment to the breeder
for a very healthy and well kept puppy. He is eating well and since we play
with him so much
he takes lots of naps. He wakes up at about 4:30 am to go to the bathroom
and goes back into his crate
with little whinning and then up again at 7 am. He is so smart and is quickly
learning
the concept of potty & crate training and what "no" means.
Thank you, Thank you,
Thank you!

We're home safe and sound; Tink is awesome. Karen,
thank you.
You were right, he's sweet and perfect and follows Yvette everywhere (Bon
and I are just
momentary distractions). When the gal at Delta brought him out, she had
him cuddled in her sweater and he was just fine. He rode home on the seat
next to me in the truck
thru a wicked thunderstorm and was peaceful. We'll keep you posted.
Warm regards,
Drew, Bon and especially Yvette

Happy New Year Karen,
A quickie note, w/apologies for the delayed reply...away and buried during
the holidays, etc.
Tink is doing great, housebroken, sweet and a real sweet
new addition to the family...he loves
to go sailing and thinks dolphins are the best thing since venison burger!
If we let him, he'd
ride right on the front of the bowsprit in complete command of the seven seas
and known
universe, etc. ha! He's something; sweet and cuddly too, not too hyper...
Gotta fly, but will send pics when we get them developed
.
Best regards,
Drew,Bon, Yvette and Tink ;)

He is a little ball of fire. There isn't a shy or
scared bone in his body.
It is working out really great with the other Jack Russell we had gotten.
It is obvious you spend time crate training and getting him to understand
what outdoors is for.
I think he will be house broken before long. The first night at home with
us, of course the kids pooped him out,
but he went to bed in his large metal crate with Phebie and they wined for
about two minutes and curled up
together and slept till 7 AM without any accidents. Last night was the same.
He is absolutely wonderful and we can't thank you enough for sending us a
dog with
such a great personality. We will let everyone know where we got him.
Take care,
Laurie Lapointe

Bailey is wonderful! She ,of course, is spoiled. Has her choice of
beds with a heating pad on cold nights.
She loves the snow and loves to play "demon dog". (Running full
throttle) She also adapted well to the water,
but doesn't seem to thrive on it . You can take anything from her mouth and
get in her face.
She loves all dogs, kids and people. Bailey has the sweetest disposition...totally
sweet.
I don't know if that is because of her parents or because she has had nothing
but love in this house.
We do not ever hit her....we just give her "time out" on a leash.
For whatever reason...she is a darling
and everyone who comes here loves her. She is highly intelligent. Stacie (my
daughter) has pretty much taught her
the English language. She knows which toy you command her to retreive and
also to hide when someone says bath.
She can outwit you if you don't pay attention. I am so proud of her too! My
neighbors have a golden retreiver who barks
non-stop....Bailey just sits on the bank and watches her. She only barks when
someone comes to the door.
We leave "Animal Planet" on for her when we leave. She is no longer
in a crate because we have found she is not destructive.
Well, she did chew my footboard on my bed, but we were home and she hadn't
had her play time yet.
I would love to send you pictures because she is quite beautiful but the only
digital camera we had went to Arizona with my son.
We do however, have a full scrapbook of 35mm pictures. They are great! She
is quite the gymnist.
My co-workers cannot believe how spoiled she is...they wonder if I was that
good to my children.
I think the difference is because my children are grown and I have time to
love a dog
She also adapted well with little fanfare to the invisable fence system I
put in....we still don't let her out alone because
I border woods and she and I were walking in them last spring when we came
face to face with a coyote.
For this reason she will never be alone outside, particularly at night. I
feed the deer in the woods and
she loves to pace back and forth looking for them at night. She has brought
much joy into our home.
It is almost like she is the head of household. I would only add that Bailey
is wonderful because she gets the attention she needs..
..if you don't have time to love and play with this breed, do not get one.
Thanks,
Leslie

Karen,
Just a little note to let you know that we are doing well with our puppy.
She has grown up so much!
She weighed 6 1/2 lbs when we had her to the vet last month. She is fully
house trained now although that was not as easy
as we thought it would be. She is a joy. She goes to the park with us for
soccer and softball games and loves all the
attention she gets when she's out. She lives in the house with us but we do
have a yard stake that we let here out on for fun in the sun.
Thanks for everything.
Cheryl Graham
Karen,
Just a note to let you know that we are all well. Ellie is coming up on her
first Christmas. She is a bit bewildered by the lights.
She looks just like the adult Cairns in all the books. She really is a joy.
She has such a loving personality.
She loves everyone and doesn't understand why not everyone wants her to sit
in their lap to get kisses.

Hi Karen,
It's been a while. Reggie is doing great. He was the easiest dog to house
break
and teach tricks to. He loves to play and enjoyes the grandkids.
I took a few new pics today and thought you might like to see how he is doing.
I would like to thank you for adding such a joy to our lives with Reggie.
As you always said,
he is really full of it. Take care and I'll keep you updated.

Hi Karen
It was nice to hear from you. Reggie is doing great, he is so much a part
of the family now we don't know what we would do without him.
I'm glad to see you are going to open up a page to put pics on, I would love
to see other dogs and see how they compair with Reggie.
I check out your site quite often to see the new puppies.
Reggie just got a bath, He just loves them and I dry him with a hair dryer.
He gets a bath at least once a week.
The grandkids just love him and he plays with anyone that will play with him.
He has so many toys.
He will fetch all day long if you let him. He loves to go to the park and
run and chase leaves.
He still playes with the cat next door. Everybody says I should send in a
video to funniest video's.
I will look forward to see the pics. Thank you for keeping up with us.
Have a nice Christmas and may God Bless.
