Hi Karen,
I just wanted to give you an update on Trinket. She is absolutely the
love of our lives! She is so darling and we just adore her.
The girls did great on the flight and we were glad that they had each other.
Of course, we caused a commotion at the
security area because we had to take them out to walk through the scanner.
Everyone who saw them fell in love with them and had to ask us what kind of
dogs they were and how old they were.
Once on the plane, all of the flight attendants went nuts over them.
We had them in the same Sherpa bag so they would feel safe and they just looked
so darling both looking out together.
Trinket has had no trouble adjusting. She is eating and drinking fine
and she seems very happy.
She just loves to play and run around. She had her "new puppy"
check at the vet today and he said she is very healthy.
He said that her breeder really did a great job with her and that he
is envious of us because we have such a healthy, beautiful puppy.
I just wanted to let you know how she is doing because I know how much you
love her too.
I also want to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and visiting
with you and your daughter. She is a very lovely young lady.
Thank you for allowing us to meet all of your dogs and see your place.
You have a very nice, clean kennel and I was very impressed with how social
all of your dogs are.
I know that I can speak for my sister and my mother both when I
say that we all got such a nice feeling from you.
You are so genuine and caring and it is obvious how much you love your
animals.
I will certainly keep in touch and send updated pictures of our little girl.
She has such a fun and exciting life ahead of her and a family who loves her
to death. Thank you for that.
Take care and I hope all is well with you.

Hi Karen:
First let me apologize for not writing to you sooner. I have been
a little busy with housebreaking,
crate training and puppy classes. I consider the day I found Stoney Brook
Farm on the internet one of my best!
From my first contact with you until the day we came to pick up Bailey (Jingle)
you were there to answer all my questions and
keep me abreast of her progress. It was so exciting to see that first picture,
but the wait until she was old enough to come home seemed to take forever.
Bailey is doing just great. I'm sending you some photos so you can see what
a great looking girl she is.
She has fit into our family just perfectly. She and my other Cairn get along
fine.
In fact, I think my older dog has a new spark since Bailey moved in. Bailey
is in constant motion.
She loves to play ball and is very good at bringing the ball to you to throw
for her.
She is completely house broken and crate trained at six months.
Hope all is well at Stoney Brook and that you continue to place these wonderful
pets with other lucky families.
We will continue to let you know how Bailey is doing.
Thanks Karen!
Karen-
There is a lady at flyball that has a taller JRT named Milhouse.
She came up to me last Sat. and asked me how I get her to mind so well. She
also said, she can't
believe how well behaved she is and that she just sits on my lap and waits
her turn.
On Sunday when we were out at the barn a lady came out to see her horse that
is in halter training w/the arab trainer.
She came up to me and told me that she has raised JRT's for 15 yrs and has
not seen such good conformation in a JRT in a long time.
She commented on how typey Savannah was and how pretty she was.
I do tell all of these people where I got her from and how I looked for a
JRT for 2 yrs before I bought one from you.
I also, tell them that I just liked the looks of your dogs and that is why
I went through you to get Savannah.
You should be really proud of yourself and your success with where your dogs
go.
I know that I am proud to have one of your dogs and don't mind telling people
where I got her from.
Take Care,
Tina and Savannah

Hello Karen,
Just wanted to say hello and let you know how much we are enjoying Chester.
He is growing into such a beautiful dog and everyone that sees him will tell
us that.
He has such a wonderful personality and can always make us smile.
Dave and I wanted to check with you and see if Chester's parents ever
have another litter could you please let us know?
We really like the smooth coat and love his personality and wanted to see
if his parents were due for a litter any time in the future.
The other night I was on the sofa watching TV and Chester was on the floor
right by me,
then he came up on the sofa with me and fell alseep on my arm.
He is such a sweet boy and we are so glad that we decided to get a JRT.
I tell everyone I can about him and how I would recommend a JRT to anyone
who wants a wonderful dog.
I will be sending a picture soon I promise and if his parents are due for
a litter I would love to hear from you.
Thanks again and have a great day!

Karen, Hi!
I just wanted to give you an update on Jimmy. He's SO smart. He's already
about 90% house trained.
He sleeps with me at night and always has to be right beside me. He loves
my little girl & is very protective over her.
Together they have the run of the house. He's very playful & VERY affectionate.
Everyone that meets him falls in love with him.
And he's better behaved than most adult dogs. He also likes to be rocked to
sleep.....spoiled.... :)
When Grace wakes up from her nap, he will go to the door & bark to let
us know. He goes to the door when he
needs outside. He's growing like a weed & still does great on his leash.
He's such a "BIG", brave dog too!
He barks at the neighbors dog while standing safely behind me... *he he he*
But I will let you go for now. I'll send more pictures soon!

Bailey is wonderful! She ,of course, is spoiled. Has her choice of
beds with a heating pad on cold nights.
She loves the snow and loves to play "demon dog". (Running full
throttle) She also adapted well to the water,
but doesn't seem to thrive on it . You can take anything from her mouth and
get in her face.
She loves all dogs, kids and people. Bailey has the sweetest disposition...totally
sweet.
I don't know if that is because of her parents or because she has had nothing
but love in this house.
We do not ever hit her....we just give her "time out" on a leash.
For whatever reason...she is a darling
and everyone who comes here loves her. She is highly intelligent. Stacie (my
daughter) has pretty much taught her
the English language. She knows which toy you command her to retreive and
also to hide when someone says bath.
She can outwit you if you don't pay attention. I am so proud of her too! My
neighbors have a golden retreiver who barks
non-stop....Bailey just sits on the bank and watches her. She only barks when
someone comes to the door.
We leave "Animal Planet" on for her when we leave. She is no longer
in a crate because we have found she is not destructive.
Well, she did chew my footboard on my bed, but we were home and she hadn't
had her play time yet.
I would love to send you pictures because she is quite beautiful but the only
digital camera we had went to Arizona with my son.
We do however, have a full scrapbook of 35mm pictures. They are great! She
is quite the gymnist.
My co-workers cannot believe how spoiled she is...they wonder if I was that
good to my children.
I think the difference is because my children are grown and I have time to
love a dog
She also adapted well with little fanfare to the invisable fence system I
put in....we still don't let her out alone because
I border woods and she and I were walking in them last spring when we came
face to face with a coyote.
For this reason she will never be alone outside, particularly at night. I
feed the deer in the woods and
she loves to pace back and forth looking for them at night. She has brought
much joy into our home.
It is almost like she is the head of household. I would only add that Bailey
is wonderful because she gets the attention she needs..
..if you don't have time to love and play with this breed, do not get one.
Thanks,
Leslie

Hi Karen
It was nice to hear from you. Reggie is doing great, he is so much a part
of the family now we don't know what we would do without him.
I'm glad to see you are going to open up a page to put pics on, I would love
to see other dogs and see how they compair with Reggie.
I check out your site quite often to see the new puppies.
Reggie just got a bath, He just loves them and I dry him with a hair dryer.
He gets a bath at least once a week.
The grandkids just love him and he plays with anyone that will play with him.
He has so many toys.
He will fetch all day long if you let him. He loves to go to the park and
run and chase leaves.
He still playes with the cat next door. Everybody says I should send in a
video to funniest video's.
I will look forward to see the pics. Thank you for keeping up with us.
Have a nice Christmas and may God Bless.
Just me
Don
